About us

My name is Calliope or Popi.

I was born and raised in Tirnavos, a small town in Thessaly. I have studied Geology in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

 During my studies I had the opportunity to check in real the minerals and stones and of course to see their fantastic colors under the microscope. This was the best knewledge for me in order to know best all stones.

I have started making my first jewelry in 2003 after attending many seminars in some techniques and after in goldsmithing too, so I have decided to start my magic journey in creations that lasts till our days. 

Personally I believe that creation is the oxygen, love, meraki and passion that is obvious to the final result of my jewelry. It's great to get lost in the colors of the stone beads and to create unique jewelry. When I see the beads, into my mind I have already designed the item that will be displayed into my shop's window and finally will be at my customer's hands.

 

I hope you will know me better through my designs and see the beauty and the love I put into every jewelry item.

 

Είμαι γεννημένη τον Μάιο, την εποχή που όλα ανθίζουν όπως και η παπαρούνα (poppy), οι φίλοι με φωνάζουν Πόπη, G το αρχικό του επιιθέτου μου και έτσι γεννήθηκε το brand name “PoppyG”!
