This unique Greek Orthodox Fylakto is totally handmade and blessed. It is made of woven fabric with silver plated threads with a cross sign on it, made as a pillow. It has a brass gold plated pin on it, with a colorful cord twisted on the pin, with an evil eye hanging. The evil eye bead is hand painted with enamel colors. Generally the eye symbolizes protection and good luck.
Babies, infants and young children who are not yet baptized wear these pins as a prayer and sign of Christ but can also be carried or worn by young Children and Adults as a special prayer/blessing. These beautiful little pins make great baby shower gifts, newborn gifts or even Baptism gifts.
It comes in lime and pink cord color as in the photo but I can make it in any cord color. The pillow filakto comes in light grey silver.
